Best Keno Numbers
The question every keno player asks, answered without the mystery.
Why every number is equal
Each draw takes 20 of 80 numbers without replacement, so every number has a 20 in 80 chance, exactly 25 percent, of appearing in any round. The number 7 does not know it is lucky, and 13 does not know it is feared. Frequency streaks in past results are normal randomness, which our hot and cold tool demonstrates with fresh data on demand.
What actually matters
Pick count
Pick counts trade frequency for ceiling. A 4-spot catches all four about 1 in 326, while a 10-spot's solid hit is 1 in 8,911,711. Small tickets pay small and often, big tickets pay big and rarely.
The paytable
Two games with identical odds can return very different money because their paytables differ. Comparing paytables is the one place a keno player can genuinely shop for value.
Test it yourself
Pick your own favorite numbers and race them against random picks in the strategy tester, or run them through ten thousand draws in the simulator. Favorites are worth playing because they are yours, and that is the only edge they have.
